Had you played Final Fantasy 10 ? i highly recommend it...and you could also try Kingdom Hearts both 1 and 2...anyway here is some other good RPG for the ps2 and ps3 :

I like sandbox-style games in which I can do whatever I want, so Far Cry 2 is the perfect game for me.
