What Website Has Short Plots For Use In RPG Games?
I saw a website a ehile ago that had plots for a dungeonmaster to use when they design RPG games for their friends to play. Each plot had a premise and 3 suggested endings. The website also advertised a book they had put together collecting all of these short plots and more. I can't remember what the website was called.|||Well... I did a search for RPG Adventure Ideas and came up with a number of responses. I don't know if any of them are the one you saw before, but I'll link to a couple of them.

I have downloaded a few rpg online games online... But everything works until i want to start it?
I downloaded a few rpg games from online... The problem is that i cant start the game after it is installed.
IN example i click on the game from a shortcut and it says its uploading the game. But it either disconnects me, says the server is busy, or it just doesnt upload.
Now i believe that its because of my CA security on my lap top it reads all games as administrations? Any ideas of getting around this?|||Login as administrator and see if you can run the game.|||no idea what game,
and i'm unsure about how CA security software works... looks like special IT stuff. sorry dude gl

What RPG games are coming out for Nintendo DS in 2009?
I love Harvest Moon and Rune Factory (and Zelda), but I'm looking for something new. What kind of RPG games are going to be coming out on DS in 2009?|||Oh, far too many for me to ever purchase, that's for sure. Right off the bat are two great RPGs that came out in this month called "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon" and "Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride". Both are remakes, but of games never released in English before. The former is an enhanced remake of the original Nintendo Entertainment System Fire Emblem game starring its hero Marth, likely most famous outside of Japan for his role in the Super Smash Bros. series. The latter is basically a remake of the game of the same name, with significant enhancements, most notably in its visuals; while it appears to be in two dimensions, much of it is rendered in three dimensions beautifully, and even much of the two dimensional graphics are great. It is also the first game to introduce "capturing and raising monsters", and allows players to have a party of up to three monsters with the hero. The art work is done by Akira Toriyama, of Dragon Ball fame.

Reccomend any good anime style games which do not fall into the turn based RPG genre?
I'm looking for some good anime style games which aren't RPG games like eternal sonata. I'm aware that the majority of anime games out there nowadays have game play like that but i was wondering if there were other games out there with other game play. How come playstation 3 doesn't have that many turned based RPG games like the PS2 did?
The PS2 has tons of RPG games. They had games like: Grandia II, Grandia II, Final Fantasy X, Hack in sign, plus many many more. I just don't see why the PS3 don't have any RPG games out right now, thats the main reason I don't have one.|||RPGs actually take a lot of time to develop. In the first year of the PS2's life there weren't that many RPG's either. White Knight Cronicles, Disgaea 3, Valkyrie of the Battlefield, Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII are all coming out exclusively to the PS3. And there's also Last Remnant and Eternal Sonata which are are on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
There are probably a few more in development which might be announced at the Game Developers Conference that starts next week and at E3 this summer.

What are some great RPG games for PS2 and where can I find them?
My son is in love with RPG games. He has a PS2 but he doesn't know what kinds there are or where to find them.I need to find him an RPG to boost his spirits.|||It depends on his age really; and whether he prefers reflex games, or ones with complex thought. Next to each game name I have a [ ] telling you whether you are more likely get it new or used, and how long them MAIN game would last on average.
Star Ocean 2 is an incredible active battle RPG, but it has some mature themes and some philosophical questions that may go over a younger child's head. Multiple endings means it can be played through more than once. (But it has a tricky craft system and a very tricky optional achievement system. Despite that it is one of my favorite RPGs.)
Dark Cloud 2 is a pretty good action RPG, and is perfectly fine for younger audiences plot wise. Rouge Galaxy is in the same vein and is just as fine. (Both have tricky craft and customization systems. Dark Could 2's world building system can be frustrating, as can Rouge Galaxy's optional factory system.)
The Kingdom Hearts (1%26amp;2) series is another wonderful action RPG series, and is simpler than most RPGs. (Its ok to jump straight to 2, it does recap the original game, but to fully understand the plot you probably need to play the first.) The first requires you to be on the ball; the second requires serious reflex speed.
Disgaea and Disgaea 2 are great strategy RPGs. Disgaea is more child friendly as far as the plot goes. In similar veins are Phantom Brave and Maki Kingdom. (All of them have more or less infinite item collection options and more high-level side quests than you can shake a stick at. Disgaea 2 has more optional side quest than it has main game!) It is perfectly ok to jump straight to Disgaea 2, it isn't a true sequel. No reflexes required, but complex though, or intense leveling, is required to do well.
Dragon Warrior 8 is the ultimate example of what old-school game players think of as an RPG. It has a child friendly plot and challenging game play; without any really difficult or extremely complicated side quests. (And one of my favorite RPGs of all time!) No reflexes required, while battles have a strategy, it isn't hard to figure out.
Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 are good classic RPGs. You'll probably want to play X before X-2 because they are direct sequels. X-2 is a girl-power RPG (all the main characters are female) with a lot of skimpy outfits. X has mature themes if you stop to think about them. Both games require no reflexes if you set the battle mode to 'Wait'.
Final Fantasy 12 is the most recent game and is much more complex, game wise, than its predecessors. Reflexes and complex thought are both necessary to play it at all.
As for getting the games I'd try any of the following... Best Buy, Gamestop, Sears, Circuit City, Toys R' Us, or Electronic Boutique are your best choices for stores, FYI has a small selection too, but don't expect a lot there.

Darksiders- It's ok. Good RPG, but lacks options like loot and character customization
Fallout 3 and New vegas - Excellent RPG and FPS hybrid. Weak on combat, but the quests are good. The moral choices matter. The story is deep.
Mass effect 1 and 2 - My favorite RPG of all time. Get this epic space opera.
Batman Arkham Asylum- The best comic book RPG of all time (Batman Arkham city, the sequel, will be available in a few weeks)

I play online rpg games normally i don't really have much time to play cause i got school an other things to do,i only get to play in the weekends when i have a free time.
But most people say whenever you play online games too much you become closeup and that is what you do all they cause your addicted to the game.

But mostly until you beat it. for mmorpgs you can never beat it. So you will be introduced to new goals all month long. Can anybody recommend decent PC RPG games released within the late 90s and early 2000s?
If possible, the RPG you recommend shouldn't be demanding much hardware requirements. What are the best and most played mmorpg and rpg games of 2010 and may be played for 2011?
If possible tell me how many players play in mmorpg's and in case of rpg's tell methe system specification and some site where there is ratings of those games may be specified(same goes for mmorpg to).|||For the most played MMORPG I would say its World of Warcraft. Last I heard they had like 11.2 million accts. I think the only game coming out that might cause WoW some trouble is the Star Wars MMORPG but thats months away.|||It's hard to recommend a specific MMO game to play, because every 1 likes something different. I microsoft trying to steal away Sony customers. Xbox now even has games like Final fantasy tactics. Most of those mentioned are two player campaign co-op. Call of Duty World at War has splitscreen co-op, but also has 4-player competitive. Call of Duty 4 is just competitive co-op. Modern Warfare 2 has Special Ops (a form of 2P co-op) and competitive. I reccommend Resistance 1, Haze, and Army of Two.

Rpg games?
what are the good rpg games to play.|||All of the PS2 Final Fantasy games have AMAZING graphics for their time and for the system. Despite what others say. The PS1 games are not so great to look at but the storylines are amazing.
Star Ocean is also really amazing, just REALLY long. Like, TOO long. Still fun though.
And you may want to look into Kingdom Hearts, always fun to play with Disney characters!
Few other systems besides PS2 have RPGs and if they do, they suck hardcore. I've TRIED to play numerous ones since I have all the older systems, but they just aren't as smooth or fun!

The Best RPG game i played would be Fable.
Alot of adventure where you play with a hero (you start as a young boy and as the game goes on youre character grows up) and what you do determines what youre going to be Evil/Good it even affects how you look) But in anyway you have to go on this adventure to find out what happen to youre mother and sister and fight a demon.

RPG Games!?
I need some free online RPG games! like simulation games or something free online, and not runescape or millsberry or habbo pleasee! i am bored|||First I'm going to tell you about the browser based MMORPGs, then I'll mention somewhere you can see the downloadable.
To play games in flash, there are Dragon Fable and Adventure Quest (In both you have to pay to have full access to the game, and notice that Dragon Fable is still under construction and that it's hard for non-members to login into AQ). There are also those community based flash games (that some people consider to be MMORPGs) that are becoming really popular: Gaia Online (that I already played and that is really cool), ClubPenguin, PuzzlePirates, and i think that Habbo goes the same way; in all of this games you create an avatar and play games like fishing to get money and personalize those avatars.
There鈥檚 also the pure browser based ones: Tibia is a fairly popular game, BiteFight and Knightfight are OK. Travian is a strategy MMOG, also pretty good. There鈥檚 also pokemon crater (but it has a lots of publicity) and, my personal favorite, FallenSword (it鈥檚 much like pokemoncrater, only that it doesn鈥檛 have lots of publicity, and has a guild system that stimulate interaction, not to mention the lottery and the auction system).
The downloadable... well, i think it's harder to speak about them. I'll also give you a link for the "List of free MMORPGs" on wikipedia, where you can see the downloadable games out there (in this list you can read about other browser based MMORPGs as well). Take a look at the websites and check the screenshots, maybe you'll find some that interest you. My favorites are MapleStory, Anarchy Online, Monsters and Me, Flyff and Silk Road. Seems like Rappelz is also pretty good.

Do you find the RPG games so fun and addictive at times? I find the RPG games to be pretty fun once I get into the game and I really can't get out of it once I get into a specific game such as Final Fantasy games or Star Ocean games and so forth. |||Yes, I love to play RPG and simulation games!!!|||i don't think its as addictive as it is time consuming. you can easily put in over 100 hours on any given rpg -- and i think all the stuff there is to collect and make drives you to play a little longer than you had earlier planned on playing. it kind of plays with your want to get things done -- you can spend hours just getting one thing done and in the process you find something else that you need to do so you end up trying to do that too.
i also think there is something in people that says a game should be finished in a required time -- like say a week or two. people set goals for themselves even if they aren't remotely realisitc. it seems like a practical amount of time to finish a game -- unless its an rpg. you are setting a goal for yourself subconsiously that you can't finish realisitcally.
if you do something like set a time limit like 2 hrs a day for gaming you know you will never finish a rpg -- so you go on a 10 hr marathon and then feel like a geek.
i think its kind of pavlovian too -- you do all this stuff because you expect to get something - like a better weapon or a cool cut scene. ever been disappointed when you did a bunch of stuff and all you got was some worthless something you didn't need?
if they were addictive you would still be playing final fantasy vii and not be able to put it down.|||same as above|||Yes I love playing games like those. Here's one im addicted to on the source|||totally agree! I've been playing eternal duel for 300 days and am not sick of it yet! :)
