Fallout 3 is probably the best RPG ever. This is post apocalyptic shooter where you are trying to survive. Another is Fable 2. This was probably the most popular RPG when it came out. 3 is coming out real soon. Dragon Age Origins is a real good game but you are killing dragons using sorcery and its a lot like World of Warcraft. Mass effect 2 is also awesome. I would definitely tell you to get that game. Its real star trek like. Dont know if your into that kinda stuff though.

Some good ones from experience for the Xbox 360 are Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Fable 1 and 2, mass effect 1 and 2 and Dragon Age just came out which i here is incredible and most likely going to be the game of the year. Its not free, but Fallout 3 is a great RPS that fuses in some FPS elements. It is set post apocalyptic. So no dungeons and/or dragons.
