What RPG PS3 games should i get?

I want a new game to play with a mate and we prefer the RPG games. We want to be able to play co-op in the games that you suggest, however you can suggest only single player games as well. We have got bored of Dead Island and Borderlands so we need other suggestions. If there is a game that you think I would be interested in that isn't a RPG game you can let me know, however make sure you tell me the genre of the game. thanks in advance.What RPG PS3 games should i get?

Its single player, but its the best game I have ever played (and its also my favourite) Its a Japanese RPG (JRPG) and its absolutely stunning. If you get this game and you don't have an HDMI cable for it, GO GET ONE! Lol. seriously, go get one. You won't regret it.



Another RPG that I haven't played, but a buddy of mine has is Dragon Age Origins. I also heard Dark Souls was good. As well as the Elder Scrolls series.

Dark Souls is also a gorgeous game. In fact, from a production standpoint it's hard to really find any fault with the game. The environments are detailed and varied. The atmosphere is always setting the right tone, and best of all the music compliments it all brilliantly. There is also a lot of great voice acting to accompany things.
