What are the best DS RPG Games like Ragnarok DS, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days and DQM for a 12 year old coz i will buy my son a flashcart and i need to fill it up with the games he likes.....What are the best DS RPG Games(ex. Ragnarok DS, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days and DQM) for a 12 year old?
i really sugest kingdom hearts because its great for kids i like it i mean look at my avatar and name its roxas(person from kingdom hearts) but dont get it unless he's/she's played the other games for ps2 because he/she might not understand the storyline also scriblenaughts,pokemon diomend and pearl,mario and luige partners in time,pokemon mystery dungeon,Pokemon SoulSilver , Pokemon HeartGold ,The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks ,New Super Mario Bros. ,Mario Kart DS ,Super Mario 64 , and thats all i could think of but try looking at gamestop's website for more

I really liked the ds naruto rpgs (which weren't even originally on ds in japan... they were gba...)

since he's not a girl, i really wouldn't suggest getting rhapsody a musical adventure... (ds port/somewhat of a remake of a ps1 game)

and i just got kingdom hearst yesterday and its really hard to put down! :D

i suggest you don't by him any games that come from tv shows or movies, like the game from the movie UP, or the suite life of zack and cody, hannah montana, etc.. you get the point.

The games are just kinda boring and their not really exciting, i'd go with zelda kingdom hearts, mario, kirby, mario kart! and you get the point.

How to play the game is to open the emulator file and find a thing that looks like a A then open that and find were u put the game and play(my have to restart).

okay here are some of my favorites and good for that age.

starfox command. (good old starfox, flying and shooting style)

prince of persia (a very kiddy and fun fighting game, good DS controls)

planet puzzle league (hard to find but great puzzle game)

[i'm aware these aren't RPG's but i'm getting to that, just making suggestions]

Final Fantasy Tactics is really good RPG, very interactive and last for a long time (i still haven't beat it)

and if it permits The World Ends with you is the best RPG i have ever played for the DS other than Kingdom Hearts. but it's rated T i think, so with your discretion.
The World Ends With You for sure. Get that. It's unique.

Chrono Trigger, just 'cause I like the SNES version. It's fun, too.

I'd suggest Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, but I guess that's not very child-oriented.

Also, Suikoden Tierkreis, but that game seems a bit too complicated for a twelve-year-old to like if they don't know anything about the Suikoden series.

and they have a call of duty game for the ds. that sounds cool.
