What are some good 3rd person RPG games for PC?

I played Diablo II in the past, and WoW and such. I'm looking for a game to play till Diablo III comes out. I don't want to play Dragon Age though. Are there any newer 3rd person RPG games out there for PC? What are some of the more popular RPG or strategy games these days?What are some good 3rd person RPG games for PC?
Did you play Mass Effect 1? Well Mass Effect 2 is about to come out next week. It looks like it will be good. Also it is slightly different since it is a space setting instead of fantasy. If you did play the first one then there is even some ability to load your old save and have some effect on the new game. There are some articles about it but I still don't completely understand.

What are some good fantasy adventure/ RPG games on Wii, DS and PS2?

I have a Wii, DS and PS2 so please answer with games on those consoles. I would like to get some games that are fantasy adventure or RPG games. I like games like Kingdom hearts (PS2) and dog island (Wii). Could you tell me about some good games and give some detail on them too, ratings would also be good. What Website Has Short Plots For Use In RPG Games?

I saw a website a ehile ago that had plots for a dungeonmaster to use when they design RPG games for their friends to play. Each plot had a premise and 3 suggested endings. The website also advertised a book they had put together collecting all of these short plots and more. I can't remember what the website was called.|||Well... I did a search for RPG Adventure Ideas and came up with a number of responses. I don't know if any of them are the one you saw before, but I'll link to a couple of them.

I have downloaded a few rpg online games online... But everything works until i want to start it?

I downloaded a few rpg games from online... The problem is that i cant start the game after it is installed.





IN example i click on the game from a shortcut and it says its uploading the game. But it either disconnects me, says the server is busy, or it just doesnt upload.





Now i believe that its because of my CA security on my lap top it reads all games as administrations? Any ideas of getting around this?|||Login as administrator and see if you can run the game.|||no idea what game,

What RPG games are coming out for Nintendo DS in 2009?

I love Harvest Moon and Rune Factory (and Zelda), but I'm looking for something new. What kind of RPG games are going to be coming out on DS in 2009?|||Oh, far too many for me to ever purchase, that's for sure. Right off the bat are two great RPGs that came out in this month called "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon" and "Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride". Both are remakes, but of games never released in English before. The former is an enhanced remake of the original Nintendo Entertainment System Fire Emblem game starring its hero Marth, likely most famous outside of Japan for his role in the Super Smash Bros. series. The latter is basically a remake of the game of the same name, with significant enhancements, most notably in its visuals; while it appears to be in two dimensions, much of it is rendered in three dimensions beautifully, and even much of the two dimensional graphics are great. It is also the first game to introduce "capturing and raising monsters", and allows players to have a party of up to three monsters with the hero. The art work is done by Akira Toriyama, of Dragon Ball fame.





A more obscure mention is of Retro Game Challenge, a collection that "parodies" the 8-bit era. It contains many fake games that mimic real games, like in this case, a game called "Guadia Quest" that mimics Dragon Quest, going so far as to make it as "archaic" as Dragon Quest was, though it still plays wonderfully. You may also have noticed Pok茅mon Platinum, a soon-to-be-coming remake of Diamond and Pearl. It will contain several new features and enhancements, and from what I hear, the speed is improved over the last game, which will be a breath of fresh air.





You have several other games to look forward to, including Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Reverie, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time, Blue Dragon Plus, Avalon Code, Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume, Phantasy Star Zero (an online game in the vein of Phantasy Star Online), and more.
